Mi campo de trabajo y reflexión son las artes plásticas, surge como convicción personal el no limitarse a una sola técnica o modo de representar mi sentir artístico sino desempeñarme con fuerza en cada herramienta para comunicar visualmente, la motivación de ser artista nació de un choque con la realidad Colombiana y lo que esto conlleva como sujetos políticos y reaccionarios frente a cada estimulo de violencia o injusticia a los que estamos acostumbrados siendo unos infantes.

 Hecho que me hizo darme cuenta de la relevancia que desempeñamos los artistas en la sociedad como generadores de cambio y no un espectador de mi realidad y mi relación con la sociedad, en cambio, expresar estos cuestionamientos con motivos de generar acciones que se desarrollen en cambios sociales y personales que hagan evolucionar mi obra y me lleven a tener una identidad visual definida.

 Porque por mas que queramos separar nuestro arte de el lugar de donde venimos este termina siendo un reflejo tosco e incomodo, como esos espejos que están rotos pero al final siempre nos muestra un fragmento de nuestro rostro.

My field of work and reflection are the plastic arts, it comes as a personal conviction not to limit myself to a single technique or way of representing my artistic feeling but to perform strongly in each technique sense to communicate visually, the motivation to be an artist was born from the confrontation with the Colombian reality and what this entails as political and reactionary subjects in the face of every stimulus of violence or injustice to which we are used to being infants.

The fact that made me realize the relevance that artists play in society as generators of change and not a spectator of my reality and my own relationship with society, instead, expressing these questions with motives to generate actions that develop in  social and personal changes that make my work evolve and lead me to have a defined visual identity.

 Because no matter how much we want to separate our art from where we come from, it ends up being a rough and uncomfortable reflection, like those mirrors that are broken but in the end always show us a fragment of our face.
